  1. I really would like support with my incarcerated husband

  2. My son has been newly incarcerated and I live in Eastern Oregon (Pendleton) and I see that there are no support groups nearby. I work at a church fulltime and my husband is a licensed minister and I am sure we could provide a location to hold such a meeting but we have no idea who to contact to make this happen. Because we live by EOCI and SRCI I would think that the demand for this area would be high and we are very willing to do any leg work to make this come to pass. Any and all suggestions would be appreciated.

  4. Are there any support groups in or around bend oregon?

    • The nearest ones are in Salem and Eugene. I’m thinking that might be a bit of a long drive for you unless you do not mind driving. A new one just started up in Ontario and we have had inquires in Pendleton and LaGrande but they are not started as of yet. A facilitator and location to hold a meeting are the first challenges to starting a group.

      • That’s a little to far for me to drive. I am in central Oregon and I have 2 children. Do you have any suggestions?

  5. Is there a Facebook group for family members? My husband has a detainer in Oregon and will be coming from Texas in January. We don’t know what to expect and it’s very nerve wracking.

    Blessings, Michelle

    • We do not have a Facebook group. Send us an email to our email address with your specific questions and we will answer them there. And I apologize for the late reply to this post, I’m a rookie at this.

  6. Do you have suggestions for legal advice for a loved one being harassed by prison gangs, such that his release in 4 months may now be jeopardized? Not getting any help/information from case worker.

  7. My fiance has around 20 years to go and he is the love of my life, best friend and soul mate. I’m looking for a support group to keep me healthy and for our relationship together and for me to support him through this experience. I will walk to through high desert to be there for my King, James. We have had a rough go around dealing with DOC and have had harassment thrown at us, guards have tried to contact me on Facebook and break is up and we have literally fought for everything we have at this point. Anyhow that’s part of our story. Excited to get some encouragement and see what we can do! Thanks Desiree

    • We do have support groups in Eugene, Salem, Beaverton and Damascus. Contact information is on our website. Hope one of these locations works for you. We know these can be trying times for all parties involved and having that place to talk and share is helpful.
